Description
The SAS Extension tubes are designed to fit the HD range on wheel clamp and on steel wheels where the rims are dished. Available in lengths of 1″, 1.5″ and 2″. This is the 1.5″ version.
Often on wide tyres, the rims are centrally placed in the middle of the tyre (centre nave), meaning the standard SAS clamp wheel bolt cover tube will not sit against the rim over the nut but float in front of it.
We are often asked, “Why won’t my SAS wheel clamp fit my wheel?” To make it fit, these extension tubes bridge the distance inside the wheel to reach over the wheel bolt and clamp tight on the wheel.
Please Note: this extension tube won’t fit the HD3 or HD3L models. You will need to remove the black plastic cap on the HD1 & HD2 to fit over.
