Description

Knott style detachable brake cable with a stainless-steel inner braid to help prevent corrosion and prolong service life. Ideal for use on all Knott braking systems including those in marine environments.

Knott detachable brake cables have a cup on one end with an outside diameter of 22mm (18.5mm inner) and an M8 thread on the opposing end to allow final adjustment on the compensator.

To ensure you get the correct cable for your needs, measure the length of the outer casing/sheathing of the cable and select the closest size. Please remember that part of the outer sheathing will be “hidden” inside the cup and the fitting at the other end, so your measurements will never match perfectly.

We stock Knott style stainless brake cables lengths in 100mm increments starting from 930mm up to 2730mm. (Anything longer than this can be made to special order.)
