Knott detachable brake cable with longlife nylon coating on inner braid to help prevent rust and aid movement.

Knott detachable brake cables have a cup on one end with an outside diameter of 22mm (18.5mm inner) and an 8mm thread on the opposing end.

To ensure you get the correct cable for your needs, measure the length of the outer casing/sheathing of the cable and select the closest size. Please remember that part of the outer sheathing will be “hidden” inside the cup and the fitting at the other end, so your measurements will never match perfectly.

We stock Knott style brake cables lengths in 100mm increments starting from 730mm up to 2730mm. (Anything longer than this can be made to special order.)
